How to get there by boat
The tour connects the region of the Chilean lakes with that of Argentina's lakes, crossing two thick national parks and three mountain lakes, at the foot of the majestic vulcanos.
The combined boat and bus journey begins in the city of Bariloche, or in the neighboring city of Chile: Puerto Varas.
It may be done throughout the year: In the winter, it is done in two days, staying at the hotel of the small town of Peulla. In the summer, it may be done in only one day.
If you want to return to Bariloche, you can do it following the same route or take a regular bus headed North, to the neighboring city of Osorno. There is the Antonio Samoré Crossing (formerly Puyehue), to enter Argentina through the Province of Neuquén, at the level of Villa La Angostura. The trip takes approximately 8 hours. In the middle of the Andes range you may see the Osorno Vulcano, a scenery that is hard to forget, as is the whole trip.
