What you need to know in winter

  • WINTER SEASON

  • June 21 to September 20.
    Days are cold with snow precipitation. Temperatures range between 32ºF and 14°F.

  • CLOTHING

  • For snow, the secret is to know the properties of the materials and to wear at least three layers of clothing.

  • HOW TO DRIVE ON ICE

  • Use antifreeze. Do not accelerate or brake hard. Use the gearbox. Drive with ice and snow chains when absolutely necessary.

  • DAILY REPORT

  • Check today’s mountain conditions by clicking here.

  • TIPS

  • The voltage is 220 V and the plugs TYPE I.
    Dialing: IDD +54 / NDD 294.
    Supermarkets do not provide plastic bags.

  • BANKS

  • Hours: Monday through Friday from 8am to 1pm..
    The local currency is the Argentine peso.

  • Parking in the city is paid.
